We are happy to say that...

We will finally be caught up with orders by this weekend. We are so excited as we know this was one long holiday for us all.

For all the orders that were delayed we have included a special gift with every order as our way of saying sorry.

Also, we are considering once again not using USPS. We have noticed that many orders that went out before Christmas via Priority Mail are just now arriving at your door steps or are still in transit. Stamps.com sends us daily notifications on the packages transit status. We're not happy with the fact that the packages shipped via USPS Priority Mail have been taking longer than 2-3 days.

So we're looking once again to going strictly with FedEx. Of course, there will still be a flat rate fee for shipping for you all, the same $8.50 we offer now. Not only that, guaranteed tracking and insurance are automatically included with FedEx.

Once all orders have been completed, we will let you all know here on the blog and via email. By then we will be back to our 1-3 business day turn around time.

Long Holiday

It seemed like Christmas was never going to get here.

We had a longer than expected turn around time through the holiday this year. Our supplier for our bubbling ingredient was out of stock and had not notified us until 10 days later after the order was placed and numerous contacts with them. Unfortunately for us this caused a delay in getting orders out in time.

Although we did find another supplier, this delayed us because our products are made fresh and not sitting on shelves for months on end waiting to be sold. Even with 10 employees on hand and I myself working many sleepless nights.

Our limited edition Christmas themed bubblebath cupcakes will be available until the 31st. Once January 2009 rolls around (in just a couple days here) we'll have a few more new limited edition cupcakes to offer. You may have already noticed two have been added, such as our Happy New Year bubblebath cupcake (available until January 31st) and scented with champagne fragrance and our Be My Valentine bubblebath cupcake available until February 14th, scented with raspberry sorbet and cotton candy.

All holiday themed scents will no longer be available after January 1st. So get them while you can. Many new scents will be added. Remember, nearly 98% of Soap Silly's scents are Soap Silly™ exclusives!

We will be having a sale in honor of all our wonderful customers next month. If you haven't joined our newsletter, be sure to as we'll be sending out the sale notice through our newsletter. Watch your email!

We are no longer accepting Paypal as a form of payment. With the ailing economy and the increase in fees across the board in credit cards and such, we decided the one form of payment rarely used by our customers was the one we were no longer going to accept, and that of course was Paypal. This will help keep the costs of our products down for you.

You may have also noticed that beginning in January 2009, USPS will be increasing their fees for shipping. Our flat rate of $8.50 will remain the same. As for International orders, at this time it will remain at $38.95. We will still be utilizing FedEx as that is our first choice for shipping and most reliable for domestic orders.

Please note we will be closed from December 31st and will reopen on January 5th, 2009.

Shipping of Orders

Just a quick note to let everyone know that all orders received by midnight tonight will ship out by tomorrow, guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas! That includes all orders that are currently pending.

If you have not received a shipping notice as of yet, DON'T WORRY! It's going out by tomorrow.

We are unable to answer the phone at this time if you call or have called. We are currently staffed with 7 employees and all are on the production floor. We are answering emails as they come in as we work close to the computer (printing shipping notices, etc) and can check them as they come in. So please feel free to email about your order if you should have any questions.

Shipping Deadline For Christmas

Although Soap Silly is running on a 5-7 business day turn around time (and possibly longer on larger orders), Soap Silly will be back to 1-3 day TAT by December 15th. We are working as quickly as possible to get all orders out in plenty of time to make it before the holiday.

With this in mind, we'd like to remind you that the last day to order to get your products in time for the holidays with Soap Silly is December 18th. Any orders placed after that time will be processed in the current TAT but may not arrive in time for the holidays. We will be closed on the following dates:

December 24th
December 25th
December 26th
December 31st
January 1st
January 2nd

Here are the schedules with USPS and FedEx:

United States Post Office:

Priority Mail: December 20

Express Mail: December 22

Fed Ex

Home Delivery or Ground: December 17

Express Saver: December 19

2 Day: December 20

Overnight : December 22

Please note, if you request that your order be overnighted or a quicker shipping method such as 3 Day Select, we will charge you the exact shipping amount FedEx or USPS Express charges. Our flat rate of $8.50 or any free shipping specials do not and will not apply.

We're trying to fill orders and answer emails and phone calls as quickly as we can, but due to the busy season and that all employees are working to get orders out, we may not be able to return your call or email right away. Please bare with us during this busy time. Rest assured, all orders will make it out in time.

If you have noticed your credit card has not been charged, this is because we do not charge until the order ships. If you received an email with a receipt for your order, your order was received and we are working on it.
